Proton Pack :

At the heart of any Ghostbusters essential equipment. With battery half life of 5000 years, this Radio A isotope Proton stream can capture ghosts

By weakening the P.K.E (photo kinetic energy) which is the strength of a Ghost :

P.K.E is measure in Class 1 which is seen as a mist or a vapour to Class 5 which is a fully floating apparition

The Proton streams fired from the packs wand entangle the ghost by using positive charged protons against the ghosts negative ones.

Once entangled the ghosts can be lowered into the Ghost Trap

Ghost Trap :

This battery charged device once opened again uses the Ghosts P.K.E energy against it by attracting the ghosts negative protons which are

Attracted to the positively charged Ghost trap ones.

At this point the Ghost is weakened by the Proton stream making it easier for the trap to ‘attract’ the ghost in. Each trap should be emptied

And charged at the end of each capture. As this is a tempory storage device for the Ghost and should not be used multipull times.

P.K.E Meter :

So how do we find Ghosts in the first place ? This is where the Photo Kinetic Energy Meter is used. The Leds and Arms built into the meter

Rise the stronger the signal. This device is detecting the P.K.E and indicting to the operator where the apparition is.If the P.K.E is not strong

Enough then it means the entity does not have enough energy to appear as a mist or apprehension. The meter can detect trace amounts.

Ecto 1

The Essential mobile unit which can carry all the Ghostbusters Equipment to any place where Ghost sightings have been reported.

This is heavily equipped with high power ‘Sniffers’ detecting P.K.E traces while in transit, Emergency lighting, sirens, and fitted with

Radio equipment and computers. Ecto has just been fitted with high power detection equipment.

Laser Containment Unit

 This Ghost Storage device (Laser containment grid) is located in the Ghostbusters Headquarters :

FireHouse 14 N Moore St, New York, NY 10013, USA

The laser grid -

Ghosts are comprised of Protons and Neutrons which are connected via a field of Gullons which pop in and out of exsistance. Gullons pop in and out of exsistnace travelling between different dimension, this ‘popping’ creates energy in the form of a Quantum Vacumm

The laser grid disrupts the Gullons decelerating the Quantum Vaccum variations to a frozen statists, so the gullons that ‘pop’ in and out of exsistance are kept out. This means ghosts can be indefinitely kept and the ghosts cannot escape for 2 reasons :

1) They are kept in a ‘pocket dimension’ meaning the do not exists in our dimension or a parallel one.

2) The diminished Gullons means the size they take up in the containment unit is reduced allowing for more ghosts to be stored,

(We wont mention what happens if the power is switch off), as is connected directly to the city grid due to the amount of power consumption. But this is exactly what happened in 1984 when Walter Peck from the EPA enforced the system to be turned off.

So once a Meon Trap needs emptying it is inserted into the system, then you follow this procedure.

1) Unlock the system 2) Insert Trap (Red light turns on) 3) Release by pressing the trap handle button 4) Lock the system 5) Set the Entry Grid 6) Nutrialise the field 7) When the light is Green the trap is clean

The containment Unit houses all the entitys that have been caught. The laser grid ensure no ghosts can escape as long as the power is kept on constantly. (We will not mention what happened in 1984 when gruber from the EPA turned it off.
